My client, an innovative manufacturer in the mining industry, is looking for an International Logistics Specialist – Spanish Speaking to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the International Logistics Specialist will be responsible for overseeing daily procurement activities and logistics processes as well as global customer interface support. The ideal candidate for this role will have an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication skills, and strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

What the International Logistics Specialist – Spanish Speaking does:
- Communicates with Engineering, Project Managers, and Supply Chain on customer documentation queries for logistics and procurement
- Provides quotes and target cost estimates for air and sea-freight to support global deliveries
- Coordinates aftermarket support with Sales and Supply Chain including triaging RFP’ s, preparing quotes from Bill of Materials, and Spare Parts Lists
- Liaises with appropriate vendors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner
- Maintains a high level of client and customer service at all times
- Oversees and analyzes logistics and procurement processes and implements process improvement procedures based on findings
- Maintains project documentation filing systems and inventory levels
What is expected of you:
- Must be fluent in Spanish
- Business, Supply Chain or Logistics education background
- Expertise in materials management, inventory management and international logistics
- Industry background in mining or industrial manufacturing; on-site mining experience is preferred
- Advanced MS Office proficiency; experience implementing or using task management software
- Collaborative and takes the initiative to drive processes and implement improvements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with individuals at all levels
