As part of our growing team, we are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated Inventory Analyst & Logistic Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage inventory items, controlling day-to-day inventory and shipping operations and implementing inventory control protocols.

Who you are:

  • You have a minimum of 5 years working in Procurement and Logistics.
  • You are comfortable with physical labor and overseeing documentation.
  • Expert level knowledge of Excel, experience in databases and spreadsheets.
  • You have experience with shipping and freight companies.
  • You have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail.
  • You are a problem solver, able to work independently with a can-do, roll-up-your sleeves approach.
  • You are easy going and love working with others to accomplish goals; in doing so, you build strong relationships.
  • You have such strong interpersonal skills so that it’s obvious you are good at working with people and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Your Qualifications:

  • Performing extensive research on a wide range of inventory-related reports, from previous inventory reports to national purchasing trends.
  • Maintaining and improving the company’s inventory situation by analyzing inventory statistics to determine which products are selling and which are not.
  • Placing inventory orders and tracking shipments.
  • Performing regular inventory counts.
  • Drafting inventory reports that document inventory counts, discrepancies, and other statistical data.
  • Reporting inventory statistics to management and suggesting improvements to inventory control.
  • Creating and maintaining inventory databases and systems for accurately managing inventory.
  • Experience receiving, transferring and shipping of equipment – pallet building, order preparation, packing, sealing, and labelling of materials and equipment.
  • Experience in organization of warehouses, to maximize the use of space, facilitate access and ensure inventory turnover. Including general upkeep and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Experience in warehouse automation and leading warehouse management software’s; knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and/or Microsoft Navision is an asset.
  • Keeping track of quality, quantity, stock levels, inventory, transport costs, chargebacks and efficiency.
  • Experience in Shipping/Receiving, in Import and Export
  • Prepare all shipping documents for international shipments and large U.S. orders
  • Organization of paperwork flow through the warehouse.
  • Management of freight and logistics.
