Job title: Investment Administrative Assistant

Job description: Our client, a reputable and established Wealth Management company, is looking for a supportive and organized Investment Administrative Assistant to work with their high net-worth Investment Advising team. Acting as a key team member, you are a collaborative professional with dedication, drive and a desire to support the goals of the organization. With a strong background in Investments, you easily understand business requirements, demonstrate excellent follow-up on administrative tasks, provide consistent and high-level support and service at all times to both team members and clients alike, and can effectively help maintain client relationships.

Location: Vancouver, BC

Hours: M-F, Part-time

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Partners in general administrative duties; prepare reports, client reviews and presentations
  • Maintain active communication with and request information from clients in order to open new accounts and maintain up-to-date client database
  • Strive towards high-level client relationship management through proactive communication and follow-up
  • Prepare letters, documents and memos for clients; manage the preparation of mailing documents
  • Carefully assist in managing client accounts, completing transactions of various investment products
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of market activity
  • Assist with other ad hoc administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar Administrative Assistant role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy is essential
  • Extremely strong customer service and interpersonal skills are vital to maintaining strong client relationships
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
