Job description: Brandt is currently seeking a IT Administrator in our Regina, SK location. The successful candidate will provide first level contact and convey resolutions to internal employees. They will support a variety of IT projects and will be responsible for several areas including, network, security, desktop hardware, and software with the main focus being IT procurement. The IT Administrator is the primary point of contact for our employees for any IT related issues. The ideal candidate should enjoy interacting with users to resolve problems of varying complexity.
Required Skills:
Apple iPhone knowledge/troubleshooting
Provide technical assistance, install and repair desktop hardware and software
Administer user accounts for multiple systems
Ensure incoming incidents are categorized, logged and resolved in a timely fashion
Identify and publish internal solutions to problems
Assist in selecting and deploying new technology to support organizational goals and objectives
Proactively learn and train other staff members on new technologies
Required Experience:
Previous procurement experience an asset but not required
Candidate must be fluent in English
Degree or diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, or minimum of two years of experience in a related role
Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and theories to non-technical audiences
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Able to manage and prioritize moderate task load
Team player that enjoys a different challenge every day
