Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Analyst/Software Support Specialist position requires a combination of the qualities and skillsets of an Analyst and a Software Systems Support Analyst. He / She must be knowledgeable with a range of software products and platforms currently in use, as well as to develop and maintain good relationships with business users and off-site individuals and teams who provides technical support in resolving issues.

The expectation of this role demands excellence and high level of: leadership, application ownership, customer support and problem solving. Responding efficiently and effectively upon operational problems or satisfy specific last-minute business requests.

Duties and responsibilities:

Resolve and assist in the solution of operational problems with IT systems.

Troubleshoot applications, databases, interfaces, interface problems and other.

Collaborate with team members to achieve IT objectives

Liaison between the business teams and the technical teams.

Support business partners on daily issues and incidents

Investigate root cause of incident and provide clear findings to business and technical personnel.

Create formal change requests and collaborate with development team, coordinate testing and implementation of application changes.

Create reports per business requests, using SQL or SAP, for business users to resolve issues or supply data for ad-hoc requests.

Resolve order management issues related to accounts, orders, products, deliveries and other.

Identify and resolve product master data issues from source to all downstream systems. (SAP, CDW, eComm)

Oversee Autosys job scheduler, follow up on failures

Limited to IT related projects only:

Along with a business partner gather requirements for projects or programs, prepare formal documentation and communicate them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators, and partners.

Support in writing technical specifications. Occasionally develop and implement technical solutions to resolve business problems or fulfill business needs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience of five (5) years in a similar role

Bilingual (written and verbal)

Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

Exceptional attention to detail and project task management skills

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Build and manage solid relationships with off-site individuals and teams.

Good knowledge of: PLM, SQL, Service Now, Microstrategy, SAP-ECC, SAP-CRM, Vistex, Vertex, Data Services.

Knowledge of Avon business processes and procedures.

Knowledge of order to cash business processes and procedures.

Familiarity with marketing and supply chain operations an asset.
