Job description: We are seeking a service-oriented and self-motivated professional for a full-time, temporary IT Assistant role in various locations in the Peterborough area.

In this role, the successful candidate must be comfortable with Mac and iOS devices – set up, installation, and troubleshooting.

You will be tasked with solving technical issues and will also collaborate with team members across all departments to assist them with their technical requirements.

IT Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot technical issues for staff and management.
• Set-up, installation and troubleshooting of Mac and iOS devices
• Install and configure software and computer systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software or hardware.
• Walk colleagues or clients through steps to help them resolve their technical problems.

IT Assistant Requirements and Qualifications:

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field an asset
• 1+ years of experience in a technical support role.
• Certifications are preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware, and applications.
• Mac and iOS experience
• Own vehicle and can travel to various work locations
