Location: The Woodlands, TX||Remote for now but post covid need onsite

Job Description:

The position is in the Information Technology department and is an individual contributor position with responsibility to assist with identification of reasonable and foreseeable internal and external risks to the security, confidentiality, and integrity of customer information; evaluate the effectiveness of the current IT safeguards for controlling these risks; and regular monitor, testing, and report on key IT procedures and controls.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT groups to provide guidance on identifying risks within defined or proposed policies, procedures, and processes, and facilitate annual review by IT Management.

• Work with internal and external auditors to assess identified key general controls. Report assessments to IT Management.

• Conduct periodic control tests and self-assessments including development of testing strategy, coordination of testing, and reporting of results.

• Collaborate with External Auditors, Internal Audit Department, and the Policy & Controls Group to ensure the IT controls framework remains appropriate, relevant, and in alignment with Company risk framework.

• Serve as the secondary point of contact for Internal, External, and Operational Excellence. Assist with evaluation of audit findings and drive remediation of identified control deficiencies and communicate status to key stakeholders.

• Assist with Internal and External audits for an optimal SOX 404 attestation process. Coordinate SOX testing with IT groups.

• Facilitate risk assessments for 3rd party vendor services (cloud / hosting).

• Assist with evaluation of disaster recovery test plans and analysis of testing evidence.

• Assist with development of long-term controls improvement projects resulting from periodic controls assessments

• Mapping security frameworks and IT / IS policies to the industry standards and providing advice on NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, SOC 1, SOC2, ISO 27001, etc.
