Job Description
The IT Business Analyst is a versatile role within the IT Business Partnership Office. This role oversees requirements and project management processes to guide internal and external stakeholders to successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritizes needs within and across projects based on business impact.
- Supports business case creation.
- Serves as Aurinia lead BA on projects involving one or more external vendors
- Communicates solution tradeoffs to business partners to frame and influence project decisions.
- Engages external vendor teams to communicate solution vision and priorities.
- Participates in vendor selection activities as required
- Manage strategic relationships with internal business partners
- Proactively monitors industry, functional, and technology trends to guide business partners on emerging opportunities
- Assesses the risks of solution options and develop plans to mitigate them.
- Assists the IT Operations team with operational enhancements and upgrades
- Ensures that the IT governance model is followed by creating project artifacts including charters, status reports, and other documentation
- Participates in project testing validation activities, as required
- Escalates project issues to the Senior Manager, IT

- Knowledge of COTS software solutions and familiarity with working in 100% cloud-based solution environments
- Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in business analysis or project management roles, including experience working on cloud software implementations
- Experience working on projects with teams in multiple geographical locations
- Work experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is helpful but not required
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP or CBAP certification is helpful but not required

Expected salary: $85000 – 125000 per year
