Job description: The IT Business Analyst analyzes changes in business needs, evaluates the impacts as well as the potential technological stakes in our CRM. The analyst helps users with completing feasibility studies, defining the scope of the project and preparing analyses of business cases, or business opportunity studies. The Analyst works in collaboration with the personnel of the head office, the plants, corporate stores and franchises.

Responsibilities

  • To be part of an agile team and when needed;
  • Lead the capture and review of needs as well as preparing detailed requirements;
  • Organize meetings with clients and coordinate communications concerning the development tasks and tests;
  • Work with clients to establish approval test criteria.
  • Participate in defining integration, user approval and regression tests;
  • Ensure requirement traceability for version deliveries (sprint mode);
  • Carry out functional analyses to identify information, procedures and decision flows;
  • Translate the business needs into technical objectives for the development teams;
  • Evaluate the procedures and exit methods and propose improvements;
  • In cases of integrating systems: define and document interfaces and integration points.

Project Coordination

  • Manage short term projects (2-3 weeks);
  • Coordinate development team and client requests;
  • Inform all stakeholders of any changes brought to the different processes and systems;
  • Complete all the documentation by using the project scope definition model and ensure its tracking;
  • Participate in system approval tests.

Technologies

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio (BPMN formalism).
  • Understanding of CRM and ERP systems.
  • Experience with the Atlassian suite.
  • Very good understanding of interactions between systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration or in computer sciences.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience as a business analyst.
  • Experience with CRM project, an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Nav project, an asset.
  • Experience in case management or risk management.
  • Experience with the business analysis model (BMA) and the organizational process documentation.
  • Solid knowledge of retail sales systems management and/or of manufacturing.
  • Professional accreditation in business analysis, an asset.
  • CRM Certification, an asset.

  • Excellent communication skills in both speaking and in writing French and English.
  • Able to influence, convince and initiate changes.
  • Strong analytical sense and synthesizing skills

  • Easily establish priorities, meet deadlines and work inside a rapidly changing environment.
  • Capable of working in collaboration with different sectors of the enterprise and ITs.
  • Aptitude for teamwork.
