About the role
Our data science lab is one of the largest in the country, and data engineering is one of its main pillars. We have big ambitions and want you to be part of them. Will you join us?
Here’s a sneak peak.
On a day-to-day basis, we primarily use cloud technologies. AWS, DataBricks, Snowflakes and Informatica-IICS among others. Python is our favourite language! We are responsible for ingesting data from many difference sources, but also for the sometimes-complex transformation of this data, to provide our scientists with quality data that is ready for machine learning.
In this mission, you will be supported by an Agile team of data engineering developers, business system analysts, application architects and data architects. We use Scrum as our organizational methodology, with the support of our product owners and scrum masters. You will be a key part of our data engineering team, as one of our primary goals is to deliver high-quality data to our data scientist teams.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Propel your career in a major company.

- Take advantage of the many benefits offered to our employees.
This is the role for you if:
- You are an experienced IT Business Analyst in a data-driven environment.
- You have a good knowledge of data lake and data warehouse technologies: Amazon S3, Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, IICS, Oracle, Snowflake, MongoDB.
- You have a strong knowledge of relational database modeling (e.g., Data Vault, 3NF, Dimensional).
- You want to play a vital role of translator and facilitator between Business, IT, UX, and Quality Assurance teams.
- You are effective at conducting working sessions with developers, architects, and other stakeholders according to your project deliverables.
- You are familiar with industry best practices for collecting, documenting, and presenting your requirements.
- You want to broaden your horizons and work in an innovative and stimulating environment.
- You are bilingual (oral and written) (French / English) – Need to interact on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
