YOUR ROLE @ MNP
Performance Expectations
- Work closely with the business to define, plan and implement technology needs
- Become an expert in the deployment and configuration of our core set of productivity, tax and accounting applications
- Install and configure new systems according to best practices
- Provide technical support to team members
- Develop, implement, maintain and deliver on desktop support processes
- Implement and maintain desktop standards and policies
- Provide technical support relating to desktop, laptop, printer/scanner configuration and mobile devices (iPhone and Android devices, Blackberry)
- Support team members with hardware and software issues
- Perform data backup and recovery operations
- The ability to work overtime and travel are essential in this role
- Deliver one on one and group training, both in person and via remote delivery.
Credentials
- Possess a 2-year community college Diploma in Technology or equivalent experience
- Minimum five (5) years IT experience with similar responsibilities
- A good understanding of Microsoft Windows Server, TCPIP, Active Directory
- A good understanding of Windows Deployment Services
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Skype for Business and their related applications
- Basic understanding of Telephony systems and concepts
- Experience supporting key applications such as TaxCycle, CaseWare, QuickBooks, Sage 50, considered an asset
- Understanding of document management and knowledge management systems considered an asset
- Experience in asset management and planning considered an asset
- Experience in project management considered an asset
- Experience working with the business to asses the business needs
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
- Some travel may be required to support other sites within region
