There is a 6-month part time opportunity working in a West Fraser Vancouver corporate office in the role of:

IT Interface Data Analyst

Reporting to the IT Manager, ERP Financials, this is an opportunity for a student or new grad to learn and gain experience in the fields of IT and Accounting. As a leading North American integrated wood products company, West Fraser utilizes a complex integration of Financial and Operational systems. The integrity and efficiency of the Data flows between these systems is critical for our success in paying our vendors and processing our receipts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Act as liaison between IT and Mill sites
• Monitor Interface activity between Source systems and the Oracle EBS Financials system.
• Work directly with Business Stakeholders to resolve data issues
• Ensure that data moves efficiently between Interfaced systems and within Oracle EBS system
• Provide reports to leadership

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Pursuing an Information Technology, Computer Science degree/diploma
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and make an educated decision
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and cooperatively collaborating with other team members
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products: Windows 7, Windows 10, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Office 365
