Now, on their behalf, we are currently recruiting for a IT Project Manager to join their team of passionate and talented individuals.
Reporting to the Director of Information Technology, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the development, alignment, and execution of Shaw Group’s information technology. The IT Project Manager will lead efforts to build consistency across the company by implementing systems to serve current and future staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Accountable to manage projects, including the scope, budget and plan
- Draft and manage project plan and budget, including change requests and dependencies with other project(s)
- Manage risks, actions, issues, decisions and appropriate logs
- Document and present status updates to all stakeholders
- Manage all project resources and ensure the right resources attend relevant sessions/meetings
- Manage project communication to all stakeholders
- Working with internal customers to identify business issues, problems and/or enhancements and leading highly innovative and creative solutions that achieve quality and process improvements
- Identifying and managing cross-project dependencies – i.e. risks, issues, requirements, designs or solutions to be able to provide the most effective outcome
- Ensuring project deliverables are met and user satisfaction has been achieved
- Directing the effort to provide functional support for business during implementation and post-implementation phases of a project
Your Qualifications:
- Experience in leading complex solution implementations
- Experience in managing both internal and external teams, monitoring progress and fostering an effective working environment
- Knowledge of managing IT infrastructure projects is an asset
- Knowledge in the areas of organizational change management
- Previous Implementation experience
- Understanding of project governance – risk and issue management, resource management, management of schedule and budget, stakeholder management, project reporting and project communications
- Skilled in the use of standard and agile project management tools and standard office productivity tools
- Solid understanding of SYSPRO or similar ERP (considered an asset)
- Effective communicator at all levels of management and staff
- Ability to motivate and influence results through others
