Provides site IT Technicians with support, guidance and oversite to deliver an exceptional end user experience. Engages departments to mitigate impacts to their operations and the performance of the business. Encourages growth of Technician and Administrators through mentoring, cross training and formal training programs.
- Accomplishes site technician staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
- Maintains staff by participating in recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities
- Completes projects by coordinating resources and timetables with user departments, IT staff and contractors
- Verifies application results by conducting system audits of technologies implemented
- Accomplishes financial objectives by participating in forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective action
- Maintains quality service by enforcing organizational standards
- Executes a renewal schedule for technology software
- Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes
- Organize training to improve employees’ knowledge and skills for future organization growth
- Ensure IT products are purchased in a cost and time effective manor
- Communicate with vendors to ensure the product is shipped in accordance with company polices and shipped appropriately
- Coordinate and track shipment of materials to remote sites
- Conduct all work safely and in accordance with safety procedures
- Demonstrate awareness and commitment to health, community and environmental protection and take action to ensure that unsafe practices or non-compliant behaviors do not occur.
- Provide technical expertise for network and systems.
- Ensures consistent IT Technician coverage through staff scheduling and vacation planning
- Supervises contractors to ensure project scope delivery in a timely and efficient manner.
- Drives continuous improvement through quick identification of problems and implementation of corrective action.
- Engage the business by attending site management meetings and provide direction when required.
- Implement new IT equipment on site and maintain existing equipment.
- Identifies, tracks and remediates issues with infrastructure using management tools
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Ensure basic disaster recovery by maintaining the site backup solution
- Lifting and transportation of moderately heavy object.
- Conduct all work safely and follow established procedures.

Requirements
- College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software or Hardware Engineering
- From 3 years to less than 5 years Supervising IT staff , Networking and System Admin Support
- CCNA
- ITIL
- MCSC
