Job Summary Under the direction of the Product Delivery Manager, Unified Configuration Management, participate and / or provide technical leadership in planning and implementing large and small-scale deployments; provide third level technical and operational systems support, advice and assistance to clients and Service Delivery teams in a national IT/OT environment. Analyze, evaluate, and solve technical problems, communicate effectively, coach, collaborate and support additional IT shared services.

Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Administer ManageEngine Endpoint Central infrastructure to ensure the services are healthy and up to date.
- Provide Linux endpoint and patch management guidance for multiple distros including RedHat Enterprise Linux, Rocky, and CentOS.
- Automate common or repetitive tasks and provide scripts to help support teams manage their systems using bash and PowerShell.
- Meet with internal clients to determine requirements, identify challenges, and potential improvements by onboarding to endpoint management tools.
- Provide 3rd level support to technical teams across the country related to client problems with application, update, and operating system deployments.
- Work with system owners and administrators to provide subject matter expertise on Endpoint Central and Linux endpoint management to help guide the efficient use of software and patch deployment.
- Provide system compliance reports to system owners, security analysts, and licensing auditors.
- Work closely with the Common Infrastructure Services teams to manage and administer an infrastructure development lab environment used for proof of concept, maintenance, and change request validation.
Education/Occupational Certification:
- A college diploma or university degree in the field of computer science or information systems, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Experience:
- 3+ years administering Linux systems in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years administering centralized Linux management infrastructure and/or tools (for example ManageEngine Endpoint Central, Satellite, or Foreman).
- 2+ years experience in operating system concepts (Active Directory, RedHat IdM, FreeIPA, imaging, security hardening, and patching).
- Practical experience in networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, ports/protocols, devices).
- Experience in software, update, patch, and operating system deployment.
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the design, support, lifecycle, and industry trends of enterprise endpoint management and software deployment tools.
- Extensive knowledge in operating systems management, standard software packaging and patch deployment methodologies while following structured change control processes within large enterprise environments.
Abilities:
- The ability to identify, analyse and resolve complex problems.
- The ability to research, learn and coach others on new concepts, technologies, and best practices.
- Verbal and written communication skills.

Working conditions:
- Work location is Ottawa Logistics Centre. This position has been classified as Hybrid.
