Technical Analyst

Classification: Grade 6
Reports to: Director of IS/IT Services

Job Summary:

The Technical Analyst will work under the guidance of the Director of IS/IT and perform task/duties in support of the Microsoft Teams implementation and rollout. Identified as a key strategic direction, this project requires a technical analyst for a 1(one) year period.

Principal Duties:

• Take a lead role in developing and proofing the Teams implementation path.
• Assist in constructing the various stages and respective components of the Teams Roadmap.
• Conduct the network assessment and technical readiness analysis in order to address gaps and take corrective action.
• Working with the project manager and MSP to ensure all technical needs are identified and have an acceptable plan to meet.
• Documenting the technical architecture of YSB’s solution.
• Administering technical changes to meet the project’s needs.
• Development of enduser training plans as required within the project scope.
• Required to attend offsite locations from time to time; valid licence and vehicle required.

Job Classification/Qualifications:

• University Degree or College Diploma in a computer technology or related discipline.
• Applied experience with the Teams platform and architecture.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated experience within an enterprise systems and network environment with a focus on telecommunications, Office 365, Sharepoint 365, and Teams.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of and experience with Active Directory, Server 2012-2019, Exchange Online, Sharepoint, and Azure services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and demonstrated project coordination skills.
• Excellent team collaboration and, time and priority management skills.
• Above average skills with MS-Windows 10, Office 2016/2019 MS-Project, MS-Visio.
• Valid Driver’s license and access to vehicle is required.
