Our client in Toronto is actively looking for Jr Accountant to join their team.

Length of Assignment: 6 months
Salary: $19/hr – $21.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Review all client contracts, and ensure set up properly in all systems
• Review and approve client and billing profiles
• Create new parts and GLs
• Monthly ticket paper reconciliation
• Prepare monthly Management Fee reports for Billing
• Assist with Payroll on a daily basis, part time, and act as a backup
• Reallocate wages in current accounting system.
• Assist the Vice President of Finance, CAO, CA with various duties, when requested
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have post secondary education in Accounting/Finance
• Pursuit of CPA designation a definite asset
• Minimum of 2+ years of general accounting experience
• Previous experience working with Simply Accounting/Sage an asset
• Advanced level Excel skills are a must
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
