The delivery manager roles will be focus on two areas, Delivery Management services for Tax and help with application onboarding activities and special projects as need to assist the delivery management team.

The primary responsibility of the Delivery Manager (DM) is to act as a business and technology liaison between LoS and Canada IT (CIT). The candidate will work closely with LoS functional leaders and Canada IT to help define product strategies and technology solutions that align to the business plan. The candidate will manage and coordinate business demand, oversee small, xsmall project, product delivery assist with various Portfolio Management activities. The secondary role for this candidate is to assist team with application onboarding, cleanup of Service Now Configuration items and APM, Automation of the onboarding process and various activities to manage/maintain portfolio specifically for tax and support these functions within the other LoS/Delivery Managers.

Role Deliverables
Product Roadmap/Strategy (50%) ? Align business goals into long term product strategy and/or roadmap (2/3 years) for the entire application lifecycle through retirement. ? Define technology strategy, roadmaps and solutions with the overall business strategy. ? Document the value proposition of applications/services including Total Cost of Ownership-TCO and analyze costs associated with delivering a service as well as identify opportunities for improvement. ? Be creative and innovative with regards to knowledge and awareness of industry trends and digital advances as they relate to new opportunities and business needs. ? Bridge communication between IT and business product stakeholders. ? Understand the application performance working with the Operations team and identify future opportunities for application performance improvements. ? Work with Regional and Global counterparts to identify and communicate the impact of Global/Regional initiatives on product roadmaps/strategy

Relationship Management / Demand Management(20%) ? Lead as the strategic interface between IT and business to shape business demand and ensure that the potential business value from those assets and capabilities is captured, realized, optimized, and recognized. ? Assist with the preparation of the LoS Strategic Plan aligning technology to business requirements. ? Develop a deep knowledge of the business unit and build positive relationships across business units and across Canada. ? Interact on a regular basis with LOS functional/business leaders to identify, assess and prioritize technology requirements and requests ? Define, expand and promote CIT services within the LoS ? Address issues/concerns in an accurate and timely manner.

Project Delivery (15%) ? Partner with the project/program/portfolio management organization (PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio. ? Ensure project and initiative progress, including consistent and effective communication. ? Ensure that project/program managers are knowledgeable about the business and their objectives; engage as a project/program stakeholders, including evaluating project efforts and progress against joint strategic plans and objectives. ? Work closely with the LOS Functional Leaders and Directors to prepare project pipeline. ? Provide input to project scope, business case with cost/benefit analysis, timeline and budget) for approval and prioritization ? Own the LoS functional operating and project/program budget, and perform accurate budgeting and forecasting across operations and projects or programs. ? Project Oversight for Lite/Flite Initiatives, includes stakeholder reporting, Portfolio Management (10%) ? Initiate the on-boarding and updating profiles of applications in client’s source applications, this includes Configuration Item in SNOW CMDB, APM, Security Fitness, etc. ? Develop/manage ongoing costs of Portfolio, Total Cost of Ownership

Must Have:

  • 2-3+ years as a Delivery Manager successfully implementing enterprise wide solutions, in a complex technical and business environment.
  • 2-3 years experience in managing Product lifecycle (roadmap and strategy)
  • 2-3+ years’ experience with contract negotiations, and vendor management, relationship management

Technical Skills

  • Experience with UIPath, Alteryx, Tableau
  • Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA) (From Development to Delivery)
  • Intermediate-Advanced experience with Google Suite
  • Service Now
