PARC Retirement Living is an award-winning developer and operator of independent senior-living communities. We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our Corporate Services team in Downtown Vancouver.

Because life at PARC is nothing short of extraordinary, we are seeking an individual with the same high standards to fill this position. As a Junior Accountant, play a key role, in assisting the finance department and managers on-site with the day-to-day accounting functions. This means:

  • As a Junior accountant your main responsibilities are to manage general bookkeeping, billings, account payables/receivables, bank and vendor reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.
  • You will also enter data, maintain financial records and support the finance department with special projects throughout the year.

  • Diploma in Business is an asset, and interest in accounting is required.
  • You’re able to work independently and make sound decisions. Your attention to detail helps you find and address problems efficiently.
  • You’re a superb communicator! You have strong ability recognize people’s needs and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
  • You’re adaptable to change but enjoy the consistency of this role. You’re constantly challenging yourself to improve, increase efficiency and take on new tasks.
  • Your passion for working in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook stems from your need to stay organized.
  • Experience working with accounting software’s is required, Yardi Voyager is an asset.
  • Most importantly, you are a team player, open to feedback and willing to help others.
