We are currently looking for a Junior Logitis Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the inventory movements and orders of the Montreal/Sherbrooke warehouses and 3PL’s
  • Coordinate shipments through the Traffic Management System (TMS)
  • Maintain the KPI report
  • Record transactions in The Warehouse Management System: Process orders and manage Inventory on the ERP system (IFS)
  • Prepare bills of lading on a transport management system in the TMS.
  • Assist the shipping manager and the warehouse manager in the preparation of reports and
  • other tools used for the management of spaces and the transfer of goods between warehouses.
  • Follow maritime containers, provide delivery appointments, proper documentation and ensure that the supervisor has the manpower to empty them.
  • Manage the daily schedule and follow up with missing inventory and backorders.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing third-party warehouses, orders, log and approve invoices.
  • Participate in the planning and daily management of transportation.
  • Take appointments and book proper transport equipment.
  • Prepare, document, and participate in cycle counts
  • Prepare UPS shipments via the system
  • Contact carriers as required
  • Enter and follow in and out of CHEP pallets
  • Replace, if necessary, the warehouse manager with the day to day task when absent.
  • Validate, approve and log transportation bills and storage.
  • Coordinate the activities with the logistics Assistant.
  • Performer other clerical tasks at the request of the Distribution Manager.

Qualifications Required

  • DEC in transport or management of operations + a minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Bilingualism spoken and written;
  • Team player with multi-task abilities able to work with more than one department;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other programs such as; Excel, World, MRP, TMS- Experience with Inventory management
  • Ability to manage your time in a fast-passed environment.
