We are currently looking for a Junior Logitis Coordinator to join our dynamic team in a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the inventory movements and orders of the Montreal/Sherbrooke warehouses and 3PL’s
- Coordinate shipments through the Traffic Management System (TMS)
- Maintain the KPI report
- Record transactions in The Warehouse Management System: Process orders and manage Inventory on the ERP system (IFS)
- Prepare bills of lading on a transport management system in the TMS.
- Assist the shipping manager and the warehouse manager in the preparation of reports and
- other tools used for the management of spaces and the transfer of goods between warehouses.
- Follow maritime containers, provide delivery appointments, proper documentation and ensure that the supervisor has the manpower to empty them.
- Manage the daily schedule and follow up with missing inventory and backorders.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing third-party warehouses, orders, log and approve invoices.
- Participate in the planning and daily management of transportation.
- Take appointments and book proper transport equipment.
- Prepare, document, and participate in cycle counts
- Prepare UPS shipments via the system
- Contact carriers as required
- Enter and follow in and out of CHEP pallets
- Replace, if necessary, the warehouse manager with the day to day task when absent.
- Validate, approve and log transportation bills and storage.
- Coordinate the activities with the logistics Assistant.
- Performer other clerical tasks at the request of the Distribution Manager.
Qualifications Required
- DEC in transport or management of operations + a minimum of 2 years of experience
- Bilingualism spoken and written;
- Team player with multi-task abilities able to work with more than one department;
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other programs such as; Excel, World, MRP, TMS- Experience with Inventory management
- Ability to manage your time in a fast-passed environment.
