Primary Job Function

Support the members of the paving and/or gradign crew in any way to produce the highest quality product in the most efficient manner.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all federal, state, local and company safety policies and procedures using the appropriate tools and equipment for the task.
• Shovel dirt, stone, and asphalt.
• Utility location.
• Spotter and/or flagger for haulers entering or exititng job site.
• Collect tickets.
• Use various tools such as shovel, brooms, pick, mattock, ax, brush hook, rake, hammer, saw, pneumatic hammer/drill, tamps (both manual and power driven), concrete saw, sledge hammer and other tools associated with manual labor.
• Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned.

Qualifications

Valid drivers license (equires transportation to and from job sites).

Ability to long hours, work nights, and weekends as needed.

Ability to lift, stand and bend for long periods of time.
