THE JOB We are looking for a positive strong leader with a “get er’ done” attitude to fill the full-time position of Landscape Construction Foreman. A very important role, the Landscape Construction Foreman is everyone’s “go-to-person”. Head of the workers in the field with a hands-on management style, the Foreman must have excellent and proven excavation and installation skills, can manage multiple projects while also being able to read and follow site plans, meet with clients, follow budgets, manage quality control and everything in between.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Full scope to be discussed during the interview stage • Perform, manage, and understand fundamentals of hardscape installations, excavation, industry equipment; requires high quality workmanship, accuracy, and efficiency – retaining walls, pavers, porcelain tiles, custom installs, water management, basic electrical, excavation, grading, general machine work ++ • Manage crews, projects from start to finish – plan and manage day-to-day tasks and work for the crews • Maintain the highest level of professionalism, be a stickler for accuracy, efficiency, producing quality work
MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS – THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION • Min. 5-years working in the industry, min. 3-years proven experience working in a similar management role, with solid and concurrent landscape construction installation and excavation experience
- Must be able to read plans, establish grades; understand and follow industry standards
- Valid BC Driver’s license and clean drivers abstract •
