Salary

20 to 26 per hour (plus commission)

– Call prospective clients to determine the interest, provide general information. and set up appointments.

– Meet customers at there homes, determine customer needs, and effectively communicate ideas

– Inspect the site, review customer ideas and design alternatives. discuss budget considerations, and define design objectives.

– Develop proposed designs. Use information concerning customer needs, product availability and suitability, and design principles to create marketable designs and complete scale drawings.

– Develop cost estimates, Use published price information for varieties and sizes of product proposed, along with labor cost estimates.

– Review design and cost estimates with customers.

– Modify plans as appropriate to meet customer desires and finalize sales agreements.

– Meet with landscape foreman to review designs on projects for installation.

– Make follow-up contacts with customers to ensure satisfaction.

– Maintain reference files, assist other designers with problems as requested, review general progress of design work, and assist the operations manager in planning and other work.

– Be able to work effectively with LMN, VIP 3D design software, Invoice-2-go, AirTable, Google Drive, icalander, and Email.

– Create change orders for clients as needed

– Handle a large customer workflow, ensure each prospect and client receives a consistently high level of relevant communication thru out.

– Be able to properly store and protect all client information.

– Be punctual for all meetings.

– Continually manage and update customer relationships using software.

The incumbent must be:

– Physically, emotionally, and professionally capable of researching referral sources, visiting prospects and clients, and convincing them to purchase products and services.

– Creatively and professionally capable of creating desirable landscape designs, including the necessary scale drawings.

– Capable of creativly re-designing a project to better fit into the clients budget.

– Physically and emotionally capable of working with managers, supervisors, and other designers in the planning and performing of the necessary work, Including Installation.

Expected salary: $20 – 26 per hour
