Job description: Alteo is looking for a Level 2 IT Technician for permanent jobs based in Boucherville or anywhere in the province of Quebec.

*** Post Covid: approximately 50% teleworking + the workplace could be: Quebec City, Victoriaville, Sherbrooke, or anywhere in the province of Quebec ***

Responsibilities :

• Offer an enterprise technical support service and remote assistance for existing customers
• Perform integration, installation and configuration of secure local area networks, equipment and computer applications.
• Ensure the maintenance and administration of systems and applications
• Analyze and advise on security measures adapted to customer needs
• Diagnose and treat operating incidents
• Write deployment procedures and various technical documents

Profile :

• AEC/DEC TI or equivalent
• 4+ years experience in a similar role
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows server (2003-2012), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL operating systems.
• Very good knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol
• Very good knowledge of networks (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.)
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix (asset)
• Knowledge of the infrastructure (SAN)
• Knowledge of virtualization with VMWare tools
• Experience in computer security (asset)
• Recognized certification (e.g., VCP, A+, MCNA, MCP, CCNA, or other) (Asset)
• Fluent in French, and functional in English

• Effectuer l’intégration, l’installation et la configuration de réseaux locaux sécurisés, d’équipements et d’applications informatiques
• Assurer la maintenance et l’administration des systèmes et applications
• Analyser puis conseiller des mesures de sécurité adaptées aux besoins de la clientèle
• Diagnostiquer et traiter les incidents d’exploitation
• Rédiger des procédures de déploiement et divers documents techniques

Profil :

• AEC/DEC TI ou l’équivalent
• 4+ années d’expérience dans un rôle similaire
• Très bonne connaissance des systèmes d’exploitation Microsoft Windows serveur (2003-2012), Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SQL
• Très bonne connaissance du protocole TCP/IP
• Très bonne connaissance des réseaux (commutateurs, routeurs, pare-feu, etc.)
• Connaissance de Linux/Unix (atout)
• Connaissance de l’infrastructure (SAN)
• Connaissance de la virtualisation avec les outils VMWare
• Expérience en sécurité informatique (atout)
• Certification reconnue (ex: VCP, A+, MCNA, MCP, CCNA, ou autres) (atout)
• Maîtrise du français, et fonctionnel en anglais
