Located near the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, and nestled in amongst some of the most magnificent scenery Alberta has to offer, Elk Point is the right place to be! Elk Point is situated in the County of St Paul, in east-central Alberta, with a population of approximately 1,500. We offer an arena, a public library, a fitness centre, the Elk Point Water Spray Park, excellent housing opportunities, schools, and a day care facility. Elk Point has a full range of services including two grocery stores, several convenience stores, pharmacies, a bakery, clothing and variety stores, and many restaurants. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be a member of a multidisciplinary team and be crossed trained to all of our departments including Acute Care, ER, Home Care and Long Term Care. You will be responsible for the complete safe and quality care of our patients, in accordance with CLPNA nursing practices, as well as the policies and guidelines of Alberta Health Services.
Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.

Required Qualifications:
