Alberta Health Services (AHS) has several opportunities for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at Alfred Egan Home, Bow Island’s Supportive Living Facility. You will provide nursing services to residents with a diverse range of developmental disabilities while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. Utilizing your skills in critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making, you teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and their families. Working with an interprofessional health team, you play a key role in supporting an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, demonstrated skill level and AHS policies and procedures. You will play a key role in providing safe, quality patient and family centered care while reflecting the shared vision and values of AHS.
