Job description: We are currently seeking a logistics technician, shipping & receiving, for one of our clients, a CRO dedicated to the development and analysis of biological tests specialized in infectiology, metabolism, and oncology. The ideal candidate is one who is motivated, dynamic and wishes to be a part of an up-and-coming project.

In this role you will:

• Monitor the movement of inventory within the laboratory (shopped and received);
• Receive the materials and place them with precision in the inventory using software;
• Examine received documents to guarantee the quality and the conformity to the clients’ specifications;

• Maintain organization within all inventoried locations, ensuring optimal utilization of space;
• Update the inventory of used items in a timely manner;
• Maintain relations & contracts with key suppliers to ensure optimal supply and cost of key purchases.

To be successful within this role you should:

• Have a high school degree;

• Have 1+ year(s) of experience in materials handling and inventory control;
• Have experience in logistics, a strength;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and time-management skills.

There is a high probability of a permanent position within the company at the conclusion of the initial six (6) month contract.
