Job Description
AIM’s Transportation department is expanding and seeking to add a proactive detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to their team. Reporting to the Contract Planning & Fulfillment Supervisor, this individual will provide support to the team overseeing all administrative tasks relating to securing contracts, ensuring system accuracy, report management and other adhoc requests. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Track the flow of shipments while staying on top of weekly transportation targets by matching paperwork and process tickets.
- Maintain accurate and complete records in internal AIM software system; input data.
- Review open shipping documents to ensure timely processing of paperwork and trace shipments.
- Investigate, verify and resolve any discrepancies and inquiries between sales/ purchase orders and/or the shipping documents including, but not limited to, PODs, BOL and carrier confirmations.
- Distribute scale and shipping documents in an accurate and systematic fashion to the correct internal parties.
- Communicate proactive updates to customers and resolve issues as they arise to best ability, escalating to the appropriate individual when necessary.
- Print PODs, invoices etc.
- Adhoc Administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- High level of accuracy and very detail oriented.
- Strong Analytical and investigative skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Good customer service and relationship building skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work as a team player as well as independently.
