Our client is a leader in final mile logistics and specializes in container delivery from major North American ports.
As a Logistics Coordinator, your role will be on an afternoon shift, from noon – 9pm, to allow for excellent service in the Pacific time zone

You will be responsible to:
Communicate with shippers / consignee’s and client to confirm order details, pickup times and delivery times
Select and dispatch carriers to customer loads
Create Bills of Lading and any other required documentation
Communicate frequently with clients to advise them of the delivery status of shipment
Negotiate rates with carriers in order to maximize profitability

You will have a good knowledge of global freight forwarding basic terms and processes including:
– Ocean container import / export
– Bonds and basic customs processes
– Container drayage
– Port services
French language skills would be an asset.

This role comes with a solid compensation package.
