About the Job:
The Logistics/Inventory Coordinator reports to the Warehouse Manager and provides daily support in all areas of logistics and inventory control. He/she is proficient and maintains accurate, detailed records.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics
- Provide support and coverage to Logistics Coordinator for day to day activities.
Including – Update of shipping schedule, Greet drivers and assigning instructions, Execution of shuttle schedule, Shipping and customs documents, SAP transactions and Liaison with warehouse, shippers/receivers.
- Manage all inventory and transactions of external warehouse.
- EDI processing and problem solving as needed.
Inventory
- Provide support and coverage to the Inventory Controller.
- Responsible for researching and reconciling daily inventory transactions.
- Maintain accuracy of inventories.
- Analyze SAP transactions, understand and correct variances.
- Conduct cyclical inventory counts and apply corrections.
- Daily and monthly reporting of all CHEP pallets and totes.
- Manage inventory of arena totes.
- Oversee coordination of oils and tote plug-ins.
- Assist warehouse, shippers/receivers as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Meets/exceeds requirements for food and employee safety.
About you:
- College Diploma/Associates Degree or equivalent of 3+ years of relevant logistics experience in a manufacturing/food environment.
- Strong computer skills – including Medium SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows.
- Must be aware of manufacturing methods, process improvements and procedures.
- Proven Math skills
