Job title: Logistics Manager, $90-95K/yr
Job description: We are currently hiring a Logistics Manager to oversee a team of warehouse workers at a warehouse facility in North York
Minimum 5 years of previous work experience in a management role within the Transportation/Logistics/Distribution industry is required for this position
Salary: $90-95K/year
Responsibilities Include:
– Hiring, training, setting goals/KPIs, and conducting reviews for team members
– Supporting claims process/investigations
– Completing UAT as needed based on process change/new application implementation
– Ensuring CTPAT procedures are followed and participate in CTPAT committee and auditing process
– Managing/executing a range of warehouse functions including receiving, putaway, picking, loading
– Working collaboratively with other departments
– Other duties as required
Qualifications:
– College Diploma or University Degree in Logistics Management or Business Management
– Experience in Transportation/Logistics/Distribution Centre Management (Minimum 5 years)
– Knowledge of various quality systems such as Lean, Six Sigma, ISO
– Understanding of warehouse applications such as WMS and TMS
– Understanding of customs compliance documentation
– Understanding of warehouse best practices
– Understanding of different Transportation modes and methodologies
– Understanding of warehouse/transportation health and safety regulations
– Excellent computer skills including Google products (sheets, docs, etc)
– Excellent communication skills
– Excellent organizational and time management skills
– Excellent leadership skills
