Our client is involved in the automotive industry, with a reasonably basic production line, although with a significant number of sku’s and volume with a Tier One company.

They are looking for a Logistics Supervisor to manage Shipping, Receiving and Material Handling.

You should be an energetic, aggressive employee, focused on Process Improvement to help the organization with a series of challenges to the status quo. You should be experienced with ERP systems, with a strong materials planning background, with APICS, CAPICS or CPIM designation being an asset.

You will work with the Production Supervisor and Industrial Engineers to drive the process improvements in short ships and various other costly rework. You should ideally come from the automotive background, or some similar industrial business

You will ideally have a post-secondary degree in supply chain management and 5 years experience in high volume manufacturing
