This position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager, Connected Home OPEX and works within the Finance Operations team. The successful candidate will provide leadership to support the Sales and other Connected Home functional teams and help drive the objective of cost optimization.

What you’ll do:

– Support the Finance objective of cost optimization and management. Assist and drive the annual and monthly planning process and will communicate timelines/targets/rollups with the supported business leaders
– Build relateionships with Management teams and other departments to ensure appropriate information flow and understanding of overall reporting process
– Work closely and provide support and analytics to the Sales, Channel Management teams and other functional areas as required
– Provide key analytical support to help drive strategic decisions with business and have a thorough understanding of all cost levers
– Review and submit monthly journal entries for accruals and provide meaningful analysis and commentary for actuals/budget/forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis
– Prepare and present all budget/forecast and month end results to the SVP’s on a regular basis
– Represent Ops as Finance lead for large cross functional projects in terms of business case analysis for cost inputs and financial impacts
– Work cross-functionally to assist in various financial and reporting requirements while ensuring that best practices of corporate standards and policies are complied with
– Assist in ad hoc projects, business case analysis as required

What you’ll bring:

– Accounting Designation and University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
– 5 to 7 years of progressive financial experience
– Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture
– Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and modeling skills required
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent communicator and ability to be a strong business partner
– Excellent organization and time management skills
– Self-starter possessing the ability to work under minimal supervision in a fluid, dynamic, fast-paced, changing work environment and also within a team
