Our recognized Forensics team combines accounting and investigative expertise to resolve fraud emergencies. Our professionals conduct assessments that gauge an organization’s vulnerability to fraud and help implement anti-fraud controls to reduce exposure to criminal and civil wrongdoing.
YOUR ROLE @ MNP
Performance Expectations
- Work closely with forensic accountants, lawyers, litigation support teams, document review teams, clients, IT auditors and investigators in order to produce analysis, expertise and advice in support of investigations and litigation matters
- Recover, compile, normalize and analyze large volumes of electronic data
- Collect and preserve digital evidence from a wide range of digital media
- Analyze, design, develop and implement complex data analytics systems
- Maintain case management systems and workflows
- Maintain inventory systems
- Prepare and package data for production to clients
- Assist in lab infrastructure maintenance and upgrades
- Liaise with all levels of stakeholders on engagements
- Work with other forensic IT professionals across the region
- May work in collaboration with our Technology Risk team
- Develop a thorough understanding of MNP’s services, businesses and industry
- Raise awareness of MNP through discussions at community events including client and company sponsored functions
- Network in the local business community and consider business development opportunities
- Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches in order to improve work processes
Credentials
- Possess a degree from a recognized University or College in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Cyber Fraud, Cyber Investigation or equivalent
- 5 to fifteen 15 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Forensic technology / investigations
- Litigation support, technological investigations and eDiscovery
- System administration and infrastructure
- Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM)
- Information security
- Computer operation control weaknesses
- Change management
- Experience with one or more of the following technologies:
- Forensic tools (EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Tableau)
- eDiscovery tools (Relativity, Nuix, Clearwell, dtSearch)
- Database administration and languages (MS-SQL, Oracle, T-SQL, PL-SQL)
- Operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS, Unix)
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Ability to obtain a ‘secret’ security clearance from the Canadian government
- Ability to obtain a U.S. work visa
- Ability to withhold a flexible work schedule and willingness and availability to travel if or as needed
