Key Accountabilities:
- Oversees the delivery of remarkable loan service delivery that builds trust through expertise, responsive and quality service to the Independent Business & Agriculture team while providing extensive and personalized services to the Special Loans and Syndicated Loan Teams, while balancing the interest/risk of the credit union.
- Manages the delivery of high-quality transactional support to the Consumer & Concierge Team and Corporate & Commercial Team as agreed.
- Applies all loan servicing practices, while using decision making skills that lead to building remarkable experiences.
- Leads and manages Loan Servicing Support team by developing & engaging them, coaching and providing ongoing performance feedback while mobilizing accreditation and other trackers to ensure quality of work is maintained.
- In conjunction with the Manager, Loan Administration and Centralized Operations management team set engaging individual goals and coaches to success.
- Develops, implements, and manages myriad of administration and feedback reporting to help Centralized Operations manage daily operations and identify areas of improvement to benefit to Connect First strategy.
- Accountable to resolve concerns or issues referred by employees, branches/business units or other internal members and solve for underlying cause.
- Assigns, monitors and tracks daily work while providing back-up coverage and acting as a subject matter expert to other staff within the department and the organization.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of a consistent, collaborative and competent image of Centralized Operations while encouraging and working to maintain a positive department morale.
- Reinforces and manages the application of policies, procedures, and audit control standards to ensure compliance and best practice standards to mitigate risk while identifying and recommending to the next level of management potential improvements or immediate risk concerns.
- Manages Centralized Operations related training sessions with internal subject matter experts, managers, and external partners.
- Manages the development, implementation, and maintenance of the departmental initiatives/projects while highly contributing to the execution and implementation of the annual business plan for CFCU, the division and the department.
- Analyzes, revises, and documents work procedures and processes; suggests and implements methods to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Builds collaborative working relationships with employees in the department, division, branches/business units and external networks within area of specialization.
- Remains current on organizational practices, policies, procedures and legislative requirements; identifies areas requiring clarification or improvement and escalates for further action as required.
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
- 6 – 8 years experience in retail, business lending/credit, and/or versed in loan admin/credit.
- 1 – 2 years minimum experience in a management role is required.
- Completed a relevant certificate, diploma, degree or designation program.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn other programs.

- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in a high volume and fast paced environment.
