The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Operations Team for a 12 month contract.

This role can be mostly remote, however we will on occasion require you to come onsite to our office at 1111 West Georgia St, Vancouver, BC.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing Operations, the Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing Operations team by providing support in the delivery of projects which support all lines of business.

What your day looks like:

  • Support aspects of print production such as monthly inventory management, identify and compare quantity thresholds, pricing, product descriptions and naming conventions are correct. Work with business lines to replenish low inventory and reprints as needed
  • Proactively manage orders and fulfillment for third party materials such as Compliance and Regulatory decals, brochures, signage, pocket folders, statement runs, etc.
  • Assist and/or coordinate promo orders: create requirements briefs for promo items, source options, present selection to stakeholders and oversee the production and distribution of promo orders. Ensure promo items adhere to graphics standards and product quality are aligned with brand guidelines
  • Assist with the sourcing, production and distribution of visual displays such as pull-up banners, tradeshow booths, easel boards / posters, etc. Coordinate the distribution to sponsorships, events, and returns to inventory / warehousing
  • Provide marketing support to internal employees and advisors as it relates to eStore orders, onboarding new eStore accounts, demoing, updating the eStore User Guides, maintaining the list of user groups, offboarding accounts, etc.
  • Provide support with sponsorships: activation, coordinating sponsorship assets, content assets, and logistics as required
  • Process invoices according to proper procedures, securing approvals and ensuring that correct ledgers are assigned to track expenses
  • This individual will support the Director on the SRO integration by working with the various Marketing teams to coordinate all of the steps required to capture changes, coordinate Compliance approvals, enter requests into Workfront, transfer files between internal teams and external vendors
  • Other duties as assigned to support the various functions of the Marketing Operations team

Requirements:

Your experience and skills:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, or operations preferred
  • 2 – 3 years of experience in a marketing or operations department
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry – with a good understanding of wealth management and asset management within those markets – is preferred
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, changing focus and priority as needed
  • Familiarity with print production would be an asset
  • Fluent communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
  • Highly self-motivated individual who is resourceful and driven
  • Technically savvy with the ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Extremely well organized and detail oriented
  • Independent and self-directed with a strong ability to work collaboratively with peers

Salary

This position is posted with an expected salary range of $52,000 – $63,000 CAD annually. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate and the requirements of the position.
