Job description: We are looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to support our Canadian John Deere Dealerships. Reporting to the Marketing Advisor with oversight from the Corporate Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will assist in providing division and branch level strategic marketing and communication initiatives including, but not limited to, tactical execution, advertising, promotional campaigns, and events.

- Support initiatives to increase leads, sales, and awareness and build relationships and industry credibility with key audiences, communities, associations, partners and media.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Advisor and assigned operational business units to design, execute, evaluate and optimize the strategic marketing plan.
- Ensure effective collaboration and communication with all stakeholders including key business groups, corporate marketing, manufacturers, partners and vendors.
- Track branch-level marketing budget spending as well as campaign results.
- Generate reports on spending, performance metrics and trends.
- Coordinate and execute on regular print advertisements and publications. Create content for blogs, marketing collateral, webpages, internal and external communications.
- Update Cervus website with promotional campaign, aftermarket and value-added services and other online customer tools and services.
- Assist with collecting content for webpages, blogs, social media etc.
- Help with administrative duties as they pertain to marketing such as invoicing, budget tracking, campaign results tracking etc.
- Help plan and coordinate promotional events.
What you will bring
- Business degree/ diploma and/or equivalent experience 2-4 years and success in marketing and communications.
- Excellent organizational skills and detail orientated nature.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and translate strategies into tactical execution plans.
- Competent marketing coordinator with passion, enthusiasm and roll-up-your-sleeves work acumen.
- Confident, motivated and independent with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Website management and CRM experience.
- Ability to prioritize multiple priorities with competing deadlines.
- Embraces change and changing priorities based on business needs.
- Willingness to learn new skills in order to enhance your abilities in this role.
- Graphic design experience, specifically with the Adobe Suite, is an asset.
- Experience with Google Analytics is an asset.
- Knowledge and background of the Agriculture Industry is an asset.
- Some travel will be required. Approximately 10%.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
