Role:
Perform centralized processing of cash application for Vendor AR and maintain compliance for Vendor onboarding documents for all Canadian Broadline companies. Also, perform allied tasks such as vendor follow-up on aging vendor AR, providing backup and participating in projects related to legal compliance.
Role Responsibilities:
- Process Cash application for vendor AR for all Canadian Broadline companies.
- Take full ownership of vetting and loading the vendor compliance documents such as HHA, COIs and Food safety documents into EBIX.
- Ensure that the expiring compliance documents are tracked via attempted follow up with the vendor.
- Work with MDM team to deactivate vendors that are not in compliance after final attempts.
- Gain knowledge on legal aspects of Vendor compliance documents.
- Coordinate with business units such as Merchandising, Legal, etc. and act as the focal point for all business queries related to compliance.
- Participate in internal/external audits for Vendor. Provide data on a timely basis.
- Aid in MDM Vendor setup and maintenance
- Perform other duties in the MDM area as needed.
Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
- Minimum three (3+) years job related experience in Financial Data Management and Business Analysis as well as experience with Merchandising and Finance functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business
- Bilingual in French is an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel (Expert level), and Outlook.
- Knowledge of any one major reporting tools (Tableau, Cognos, power BI) is an asset
- Knowledge of advanced Excel functions such as macros, Power Pivot, Power Query is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate across multiple levels in the organization with ease and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, time management, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must be extremely detail and deadline oriented, a fast learner, and a multi-tasker.
