Job description: Revelstoke Credit Union is excited to announce we are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to work on our front line as a Member Service Representative. This role is an entry level position in a highly visible Member service oriented organization. This job will be attractive to people looking for a career or interested in Finance. The skills and desire to provide excellent service are essential.

Key Areas of Accountability:

• Respond to Member requests, delivering fast and efficient service, assisting with transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, cheque cashing/ordering, bill payments, money orders and transfers, and foreign currency exchanges.
• Resolve problems at first point of contact where possible and refer more complex situations to senior employees.
• Adhere to compliance routines in carrying out transactions.

Qualifications:

• Secondary School Diploma
• 0 – 1 year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated commitment to applying relevant and applicable policies, procedures in the day-to-day performance of the functions of this position
• Member service orientation, driven to help members meet needs or resolve problems
• Team player, driven to ensure that the whole RCU team is successful in meeting member needs
• Strong organizational, time management and communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development
• Industry experience in financial services, retail, hospitality, etc. is an asset
• Must be available to work all shifts including Tue-Thur 8:45am-5:15pm, Friday 8:45am-6:15pm, and Saturday 8:45am-1:15pm.
