Responsibilities:

Responsible for effective troubleshooting, preventive and corrective maintenance actions, installation and testing of all production equipment.

Recommend technical solutions by examining all our machines; clarifying requirements with OEM representatives

Identifying untapped equipment opportunities, product enhancements, and industry developments

Represent our company to OEM and contractors in a professional manner and provide effective and professional communication

Escalate unresolved issues to superiors promptly

Provide Maintenance department with the necessary information for required replacement parts * Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records

Mechanical as well as electrical/electronic aptitude and experience

Good computer skills along with a basic understanding of PC and PLC controls

Good skills in machining, welding and fabrication.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Ability to effectively handle time critical issues and meet deadlines

Ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with fellow employees and Management.

Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills

Flexibility – able to quickly adapt to new situations – and creativity – able to think “outside the box.”

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

A valid Certificate of Qualification for Industrial Millwright

Any applicable trade related licenses are considered an asset. Must be willing to train for missing certifications (fall arrest, aerial lift platform, etc.)

Experience working in the food industry

Able to work rotational shifts
