The National Account Manager will sell digital and print advertising solutions to Large National clients across Canada and the US. The successful candidate will leverage company resources, technology, products and industry connections to meet customer business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform selling activities to new and existing National clients to ensure that monthly targets are attained.
- Establish and maintain effective industry relationships.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of short and long term strategies and account actions.
- Develop a detailed understanding of customers’ strategic business objectives.
- Leverage company resources, technology, products and business processes to meet customers’ requirements.
- Make sales presentations to groups, such as advertising agencies, farm machinery dealer associations and others.
- Communicate the company strategy to key executive level contacts and decision makers.
- Follow strategic account management process that may include Opportunity Reviews, Sales Plans etc
Qualifications
- Post secondary education (Business, Agriculture, Marketing) or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in B2B sales is required
- Background in Marketing or Advertising would be considered an asset.
- Farm related background or agriculture experience is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to exceed SALES targets in a major or national account capacity
- Excellent planning, organization and communication skills combined with a mature, professional and positive attitude.
- Strong ability to manage large accounts and the ability to interface with senior management
- Innovative, self-motivated, business oriented self-starter with ability to perform.
