Reporting to the Senior Director of IT Governance and Security, and actively working with the Global IT team and other business partners, you will play a lead role in defining the Information Security roadmap for client including Security architecture and solution implementations. Security Resiliency, Incident Management and Crisis management are key areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Developing information security policies and procedures
Proactive monitoring of the IT environment for security incidents, risks and weakness
Monitoring and measuring information security policy, legal and regulatory compliance and control system performance through various access and segregation of duties reviews
Work with and manage relationships with client’s managed security providers
Defining security control requirements as a member of various IT project teams
Testing and validation of security controls
Developing and delivering information security education, training and awareness to the workforce
Performing information security incident response and investigations
Performing security vulnerability and risk assessments of information systems
Performing various audits and coordinating information security auditing by third party consultants.
Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
Research Security enhancements and make recommendations to management
Participate in the development and execution of an Information Security road map with a focus on continuous improvement and currency with Industry best practices
Monitor and implement security best practices in Microsoft Office 365 environment
Manage and maintain corporate Firewalls to best practice standards
Lead Technology Solution reviews and implementation leveraging Project Management skills
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science, IT Security or related field or equivalent work experience
One or more of the following Certifications:
(ISC)2 System Security Certified Practitioner
(ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional
(ISC)2 Information Systems Security Architecture Professional
GIAC Security Essentials Certification
GIAC Security Leadership Certification
ISACA Certified Information Security Manager
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Security
Five+ years work experience in the information security field
Understanding of firewalls, proxies, SIEM, antivirus, EDR, and IDPS concepts
Strong technical knowledge of information systems including networking and telecommunications, Microsoft Windows Domains and Office 365, applications security, database security, etc.
Experience in vendor management and working with Managed security providers
Ability to identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and explain how to avoid them
Knowledge of vulnerability and risk assessment methodologies and experience performing these assessments
Strong knowledge of information security practices, principles and standards (e.g. ISO, NIST)
Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Project Management
Strong communications skills with the ability to present effectively verbally and in writing to small and large audiences
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
Willingness to work off normal business hours on a periodic basis including being on-call for emergency purposes
