Reporting to the Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out prescribed Physiotherapy &
Occupational Therapy duties under the direction and supervision of a Physiotherapist and/or Occupational Therapist.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Physiotherapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant program or equivalent
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relating to rehabilitation
- Valid CPR training
- Able to function as an integral component of an interdisciplinary team
- Able to work under minimal supervision accepting responsibility and accountability as assigned
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills including skills in patient teaching
- Experience working with people of various ethno-cultural groups is an asset
- Demonstrated physical fitness to perform the essential duties of the position
- Excellent work performance and attendance record required
