Job title: Office Manager – Construction GC

Job description: This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing ICI general contractor, supporting the leadership team and operational business in an Office Management capacity.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

Maintain company records.

Assist the executive team with organizing meetings, presentations, distributions and communications to various project team members.

Manage travel schedules and arrangements for company and its guests.

Assist executives in assembling marketing materials in co-operation with overseas HQ.

Maintain communication with HQ in establishing company operations and implementing company procedures.

Organize incoming receivable invoices and outgoing payables until a controller is secured in Q2 of 2024. * All other related duties as required.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Over five years of experience working in an Office Manager capacity within the GTA construction sector, ideally for a commercial/industrial buildings general contractor
  • Strong understanding of construction industry terminology, jargon, best practices, and the day to day operations of a general contracting company
  • Excellent organization, computer / technology, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience dealing with clients and sub-trades is an asset

Our client is an established international general contractor and construction management firm, dedicated to overseeing large scale ICI buildings projects across multiple sectors. The organization has launched their Canadian Business unit, focused on delivering light industrial buildings projects to established companies across the GTA and South Western ON. The company is currently looking for an experienced Office Manager to join their team.
