Job description: AgriLink Equipment is searching for a dynamic, motivated individual to join our team as an Office Manager.
AgriLink Equipment is an agriculture equipment dealer servicing Massey Ferguson, Versatile, Morris, and MacDon product lines. As Office Manager, you will oversee the day to day accounting and financial operations. You will have a solid understanding of basic accounting principals and be highly attentive to details. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, customer friendly, and demonstrates strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities
Prepares monthly financial statements and management reports according to dealership guidelines and the manufacturer’s format and time frame
Prepares account reconciliations quarterly and for year-end audits
Runs and maintains all aspects of payroll program to ensure accurate and timely transmissions of bi-weekly payroll
Prepares daily bank deposit and cash report
Reconciles select accounts monthly
Ensures that all manufacturer accounts including warranty claims, rebates, interest, protection, and co-op advertising accounts are current and accurate
Assists in completion of annual review/audit
Ensures compliance with all government regulations
Prepares tax reports, tax deposits and tax returns in a timely, accurate manner
Prepares employee health/life benefit payments
Processes paperwork for new employees and terminations
Other tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years experience in accounting and payroll
Must currently reside in Canada and legally able to work in Canada
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an aptitude for other software programs
Strong work dedication and positive attitude
Willingness to learn and evolve with technology
Strong communication skills
Multitasker with strong time management, file management and organizational skills.
