Job description: Les jardins Carya is a five-acre organic vegetable farm located in Senneville, Quebec, on the Island of Montreal. We grow a little of everything, and a lot of field and greenhouse grown salad greens, tomatoes, and microgreens. Our focus is high-quality vegetables and amazing customer service. We proudly supply local restaurants, cafeterias, and small grocery stores with our products year-round, and offer our fresh produce to a market-style CSA at two weekly Farmer’s Markets. We are located a 15-minute bike ride from the waterfront college town of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, and a 30-minute drive/train from downtown Montreal.

Organic Market Gardener – Part-time 3-4 days a week, seasonal position
Wages: Compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience.
Description:
We are seeking out highly motivated, experienced Market Gardeners capable of performing in all aspects of our farm production:
- Wash and Packhouse
- Greenhouse Management
- Harvesting Vegetables
- Weed and Pest management
- Land management
Job Requirements
- Has a passion for agriculture
- Can communicate easily and effectively with team members
- Has a good level of experience in market gardening (2 seasons or more)
- Ability to work at a fast pace in groups or alone
- Capacity for physical work under variable weather conditions
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Driven to get the job done, but values work-life balance
- Has a valid driver’s license
- Bilingual (French and English)
