Candidate profile (title) Who you are
Candidate profile (text) – Default language • You have about 1 year’s work experience in a high-volume logistics or retail environment where you dealt with replenishment and receiving (distribution center experience is a strong asset but not necessary)
- You have proven leadership experience of at least 1 year where you directly led a team
- You are a natural leader. You are comfortable managing, coaching and developing a dynamic team, and always have succession planning in mind
- You’ve worked with material handling equipment many times before (and hold all appropriate certifications and licenses)
- You are computer savvy and generally comfortable with technology (and can easily learn new software and systems)
- You have a solid understanding of budget, costs and KPI’s, and how to use KPI’s to plan, follow up and steer the business
- You are willing and able to work very early in the morning (before the store opens)
- You are totally cool working in a physically demanding, fast-paced, work environment
Key responsibilities (title) Your responsibilities
Key responsibilities (text) • Coaching, managing, mentoring and onboarding new and existing team members to ensure that they succeed with us. This includes identifying and developing internal talent for the future
- Empowering your team by delegating tasks
- Ensuring logistical operations are running smoothly, including inventory routines, preparation of store for daily opening, and the minimizing of wait times at merchandise pick up
- Improve productivity via efficient resource planning,
- Secure that the work of the goods flow team complies with IKEA’s Code of Conduct, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation relating to Health and Safety
- Offers input to the store’s business plan and logistics action plan

Overnight shift hours are between 10pm and 10am (Including Weekends)
Salary: $55,200 / Year + Benefits (Starting pay may increase depending on experience)
