Your early days will consist of labour tasks such as assisting machine and crane operators, building skids, packaging orders operating forklifts and cranes until you are fully trained to operate the machines. You will be joining the crew. Advancement opportunities should be available to you once more experience is gained and with a willingness to learn attitude.

Job Title: General labour/Packager
Location: Ingersoll, Ontario

Pay rate: $18.33 hourly to start to $24.56 hourly bat the 12-month mark
Shift: Bi-weekly rotations between days and afternoons
Hours: 6 am to 2 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm (Monday to Friday)

Responsibilities
What is expected from you?

Production work
Building skids
Apply MULT stickers
Operate packing line
Package all material according to work order instructions (skidding/banding)
Assist process operators
Assist crane operator
Operate lift truck – unload/load material in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure 100% compliance with procedures and work instructions at all times
Ensure compliance at all times with all facets of the QMS
Support 5S requirements.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Able to operate a personal computer and other office equipment.
Able to communicate effectively.
Able to move between the three-building manufacturing complex as needed

Qualifications
Who is qualified?

Someone with general labour experience
High School diploma or greater
2-year experience in manufacturing

Forklift and crane experience are both assets!
Basic mechanical knowledge of machines is an asset!
