About the Opportunity
Our client, located in downtown Ottawa, is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper for a period of approximately 2 months. This is an onsite position and requires the individual to be located in the National Capital Region.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Reviewing and processing invoices for payment
- Preparing cheques and bank deposits
- Assist with month-end closing
- Posting entries to the general ledger
About You
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 2+ years experience in a similar role
- Post secondary education in accounting and finance
- Working experience with Sage 50
- Experience in a Not-for-Profit environment is an asset
