Job title: Precision Agriculture Manager

Job description: Do you have advanced knowledge of the technology side of agriculture equipment to optimize farming operations? Do you have a knack for understanding numbers, raw data and translating it to useable information? We have an immediate opening for a Precision Agriculture Manager (formerly Integrated Solutions) based at any one of our dealer locations in Avonlea, Radville, Estevan, Oxbow or Redvers.

As a specialist in agriculture technology, your role is to advance the dealer strategy for solutions enabled by the John Deere Precision Agriculture strategy and other aligned technology to our internal and external customers. Your focus is not what to put into the ground but how to use the technology in the machine to improve yields for our growers.

Our ideal Precision Ag Manager qualifications include:
Minimum of five years experience in an agriculture-related role, farming background preferred
Minimum 2 years leading and developing a team
Advanced knowledge and experience of agriculture data management platforms such as JDLink, GPS, John Deere Operations Center, My John Deere and other third party platforms required.
John Deere agriculture equipment experience preferred with dealership sales, service, training, or other related work experience a strong asset
Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft 365 and remote internet functions.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel to store and customer locations
Valid Saskatchewan drivers licence required
Living in the community or within a 50 km radius of the location is required
Supporting education is an asset but experience with the technology is preferred. Bachelors degree in Agronomy, Agriculture Business, or Agriculture Mechanization or equivalent experience preferred with Certified Crop Advisor certification or equivalent an asset
